In this post, I will be discussing where I wan't to take my photos for my photoshoot, why I want to take them there, and issues I may face. I will also be sharing the photos of this location.
Where I want to shoot my project: I want to shoot my project in a beach in Surfside, Florida. Moreover, I would like to shoot in this area because it is local to where I live, making it easy to commute to the beach. The reason I am specifically choosing to shoot in a beach is because the beach is commonly associated with summer and spring seasons. Similar enough, my fashion magazine will be focusing on spring/summer colors and vibes, so it would make scene to shoot in that destination.
Issues I may face: Due to how this location is outside, there is a chance for rain. To make sure that the weather won't affect my photoshoot, I will start taking photos a lot earlier than the due date of the photoshoot. This will give me ample time to successfully capture the photos I want without the weather getting in the way. By giving myself extra time, I can also experiment with different times of the day I can take the photos, this could mean that the sky would be different colors and I could see what would look best. Also, starting earlier solves the issue of how the sun may set at an earlier time. This gives me time to come back another day and finish shooting photos then so the images are coherent with each other. Another issue I may face is how there may be a lot of people on the beach and getting in the way of the shots I will be taking. To solve this issue, I can use Photoshop to get rid of any unnecessary objects. Lastly, this location is not on a private property and I don't need permission to shoot at the beach in Surfside. I can freely take photos at that area without any problems.
