My goals for my first photoshoot was to focus on the clothes and the accessories on my model. I wanted to capture the fashion. Some of the successes that I was able to accomplish were capturing the clothing well. For example, I made sure the colors were very visible as well as including full body shots. Through the editing process, I was able to improve the lighting. This helped with making the clothing “pop” more. Some struggles that I encountered were finding the right angles. I had to move the camera around a lot to find what would look the best. I learned how it was a long process to make sure each photo feels right and showcases what is important. Moreover, I also learned that it is important to take your time so you can get the best possible picture. In the future, I might improve by using backgrounds that are more colorful and try different lighting and angles. Class critique and feedback that I received was making sure the lighting and filters all flow throughout the photoshoot. This is something that I will incorporate moving forward.
